Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus Bus Routes, Timings And Facilities

Chief Minister M.K.Stalin today inaugurated the new bus stand at Kilambakkam. He also flagged off the buses from the bus station.

In this situation, Transport Minister Sivashankar met the media. Then he said, "All government express buses from southern districts to Chennai will now arrive at Kilambakkam bus station and no longer go to Koyambedu bus station.

The Kilambakkam Centenary Bus Stand will be functional starting tomorrow. 300 government express buses departing from Chennai on weekdays and 360 government express buses departing on weekends will now operate from Kilambakkam.

Similarly, all the buses operating in Chennai on behalf of the Chennai Municipal Transport Corporation will be operated from Kilambakkam. Additional buses are scheduled to run along with the buses plying on this route.

There will be a bus every 5 minutes from Kilambakkam to Koyambedu bus stand, a bus every 2 minutes to Tambaram and a bus every 3 minutes to Guindy," he said.

 MTC buses from Broadway (18A, 21G), T Nagar (51A, 51AX, V51X), and Poonamallee (66P) will be operated at an interval of 10 minutes respectively, while buses from Thiruvanmiyur (91, 95, 01K, 95K) and Iyyappanthangal (166X) will be operated at 8-minute-interval.

Buses at varied frequencies will be driven along routes such as Velachery (51X, 91R), Adyar (99A,99X), Sholinganallur (95XCT), Thiruporur (515T), Walajabad (579K), Sriperumbudur (583K), Kundrathur (66KCT), Thiruverkadu (207), Avadi (104A, 202X), ΜΜΒΤ (104M), Madhavaram (104F), Perambur (104P), Redhills (104K), MKB Nagar (104G), T.V.K Nagar (104T), KKD Nagar (104H), and Korukupet (B18X).
