Masinagudi TVK Organised Cricket Tournament To Boost Sportsmanship

The Masinagudi Cricket Tournament, organized by Tamilaga Vettri Kazgham in Masinagudi Panchayat, witnessed fierce competition among teams from neighbouring areas, showcasing exceptional cricket talent and sportsmanship. The Star Boys team emerged as the champions, with Spartans and Blue Buds finishing as runners-up.

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, under Masinagusi Panchayat, is conducting different activities construing the youngsters in mind. Recently, they provided the necessary equipment to 350 students of 10th, 11th & 12th classes studying in Masinagudi Panchayat Government School, GRG Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Government Tribal Residential High School and congratulated them for 100% passing the exam considering the upcoming Tamil Nadu Public Examination.

In that line, TVK Masinagudi organized the Cricket Tournament to build sportsmanship. This event was held as per instructions of Nilgiri District Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam District Secretary Santhosh and in-charge Ramesh. It is good to see many enthusiastic youngsters vibrating their sports talents.

Twelve teams participated in the cricket tournament, and all the players did their best to win the trophy. The event was enjoyed by the locals as well. Ultimately, the local team "Star Boys" won the trophy with a smart win, scoring the highest number of runs. The "Blue Buds" team also performed well and was a good competitor for the leading team, securing the second runner-up position with an average score difference.

Following the match, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazgham (TVK) under Masinagudi panchayat representatives, including Sreenath, Manikandan, Sudheep, Mithun, Vijay, Satishkumar, Santhosh, and Sabari, presented trophies and cash prizes to the deserving winners.

Expressing their gratitude, the prize-winning players thanked TVK leader Vijay for his invaluable support and encouragement. This acknowledgement underscores the TVK's commitment to nurturing local sports talent and fostering a sense of community spirit.
