Murasoli Selvam Passes Away Due To Heart attack In Bangalore

Murasoli Selvam, who was the son-in-law of Karunanidhi and the husband of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin's sister Selvi, passed away today in Bangalore at the age of 82. His body has been brought to Chennai from his home in Bangalore.

Murasoli Selvam was the half-brother of the late former Union Minister Murasoli Maran. He is a long-time editor of Murasoli Daily, run by the Karunanidhi family for the DMK. Murasoli Selvam has also worked as a producer of various films. Murasoli Selvam married his maternal uncle Karunanidhi's daughter Selvi and lived in Bangalore.

Murasoli Selvam suffered a heart attack while writing notes for the Murasoli daily. He was admitted to a private Hospital in Bangalore and passed away this morning. His body has been brought from Bangalore to Chennai by ambulance. His demise is a significant loss to the DMK party.

DMK leaders, including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, and journalists have expressed deep condolences on the death of Murasoli Selvam.
