Opinions of other party leaders in DMK rally against CAA: The DMK and its allies rally in Chennai against the CAA, and NRC is underway now. DMK leader Stalin, P. Chidambaram of Congress, Vaiko of MDMK, and many other leaders are leading the rally now. More than 5,000 police personnel are standing guard to the rally.  Stalin, while speaking to the Press, confirmed that there would be soon a massive protest against the CAA and NRC in Tamil Nadu. 

Many leaders spoke to the Press during the DMK and alliance rally against CAA and NRC which includes

Khader Mohideen, President of Indian Muslim League

  • Home minister Amit Shah has informed in many places including Parliament that soon there will be NRC
  • Until the government withdraws there will be a protest against CAA and NRC
  • Stalin will announce further protests and inform the dates soon

  • Modi government only wants the protest to get severe
  • Their main intention is to divide Indian society as Muslims and Hindus
  • Demonstrations in favor of CAA is only confirming their plans of dividing people 
  • If an act comes, it is natural for opposition parties to support or against them, but BJP favoring demonstrations across India only show that they want to divide Indians as Muslims and Hindus
  • Only because of this they are making the protests to get severe

  • Prime minister says there is no detention center, but his home minister Amit Shah has confirmed in Parliament that 28 people have died in a detention center in Assam
