Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai, said that there would be heavy rain in Nilgiris, Theni, Erode, Dindigul, Salem, and Dharmapuri. In some parts of Chennai, the sky will be partly clouded.
It is said that the rainfall will gradually decrease after April 17 in Tamil Nadu. People are waiting for rain as the state is terrible with sweat and tired under the hot sun.
