The deep-hole bore well is the usual procedure to suck water from the ground. But the same has become a life-threatening issue to a two-year-old kid from Manachanallur, Trichy. Surjith two-year-old kid hails from Nadukkattupatti, Manachanallur in Trichy. His father and mother are owning a cornfield. In order to irrigate the field, a few years back, they have put a deep hole bore well.
Out of lethargy or ignorance, they have sand closed it. There was no metal cover, which was very much essential. The two-year-old kid was playing with his friends and ran in the cornfield. Not knowing the well, the kid stepped on the sand and has fallen deep. Surjith got stuck initially in 35 feet. Understanding the consequences, his father immediately telephoned to fire service and rescue operations are in full swing. Yesterday at 5.30 this incident has happened.
Till morning, his uncle was continuously communicating with Surjith to ensure his safety. But at one point of time, there was a response from the kid. The kid might have fallen asleep. All are just assumptions.
