Sripathy Made History Becoming First Tribal Woman Civil Judge in TN

At 23, a woman named Sripathy from Puliyur village next to Javadhu Malai in Tiruvannamalai district passed the law judge exam.

TNPSC issued a notification to fill up 245 Civil Judge vacancies in the Lower Courts in Tamil Nadu on June 1 last year. Tamil Nadu Government Staff Selection Commission published.

12,037 candidates, including 6,031 males, 6,005 females and one member of the third gender, had applied for these posts. Four hundred seventy-two candidates who passed the preliminary and main examinations were called for the interview, and the result was also announced.

A tribal woman, Sripathy (23), from next to Javadhu Malai in Tiruvannamalai district, has also been selected as a civil judge. This brought honour to her district and her family. Politicians, celebrities and the common people congratulated her on her victory. She has now set an example for the others in her community.
