Standard 10 Girl Sexually Harassed By 21 Year Old In Chennai

Karthik Raghavan (age 21) hails from the Kilpakkam area of Chennai. A woman complained to him at the all-women police station in Kilpakkam. In that, she said Karthik Raghavan is my cousin. Based on that, I sent my 10th-class daughter to her home to learn 'online' games. But he misbehaved with my daughter and raped her by claiming to teach 'online' sports. 

He also took a video of it on his cell phone. At one point, he started threatening to post the pictures on the website. When rebuked for this, he continues to threaten. Appropriate action should be taken against him.' But all women police have not taken appropriate action on this complaint. So the mother of the victim student sought the help of the court. 

The court directed the Women and Child Protection Police to conduct a proper investigation and file a report. The police of this division conducted a proper investigation and submitted a report that action should be taken against Karthik Raghavan. 

As a result, the All Women Police of Kilpakkam registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested Karthik Raghavan. And to note that this incident took place during the Covid period, and only now has appropriate action been taken.
