90.7% of students have passed the Tamil Nadu Class 10 Public examination. The results are satisfactory to most of the students. The students are now eagerly selecting their groups for their higher studies.

Education Minister Anbil Mahesh today announced the results of the 12th and Class 10 Public examinations held in Tamil Nadu last May. 90.7 per cent of students have passed 10th class. A total of 9,12,620 people wrote the exam, and 8,21,994 passed. 85.8% of the male students and 94.4% of the female students have passed. The pass percentage of female students is 8.55 per cent higher than that of male students.

Eight hundred eighty-six government schools have a 100 per cent pass rate. Of the 242 inmates who wrote the exam, 133 passed. Only one person in the Tamil language scored 100 out of 100. The overall pass rate has decreased compared to previous years. The last was 94.5% in 2018, 95.2% in 2019, and 100% in 2020 and 2021 (all declared pass due to corona). This number has now dropped to 90.7 per cent.
