A Pongal gift will be given to family cardholders every year on the occasion of the Pongal festival. It has been reported that the token for receiving Rs.1000 cash will be distributed tomorrow.
Similarly, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin announced that Rs.1000 cash would be given along with one kg of rice and one kg of sugar to celebrate Pongal this year.
Pongal cash will be distributed through 33,000 ration shops in Tamil Nadu. It has been reported that the token for getting Rs.1000 cash will be distributed tomorrow. It has been announced that the district's chief minister and ministers will start the distribution of Rs.1000 on January 2 in Chennai.
