Tamil Nadu: Online Rummy Ban Bill Passed Again In The Assembly

The 'Online' Gambling Prohibition Bill, sent back by the Governor without assent, was tabled again in the Assembly today.

Chief Minister M. K. Stalin re-introduced the Online Rummy Ban Bill in the Assembly today. Speaker Appavu read out the details in the letter the Governor sent back. After this, the letter sent back by the Governor was given to all the members. 

Then Chief Minister M.K.Stalin gave an address on the Online Rummy Prohibition Bill. At that time, "No one with a heart can refuse to ban this law. Maintaining law and order and protecting people is the most important duty of the state government.

The state government has the right to protect all the people within the state borders. All members should support this draft law so that online gambling injustice does not continue." 

In this situation, Speaker Appavu announced that the Online Rummy Prohibition Bill was unanimously passed in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. The Online Rummy Ban Bill has been passed again in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. As the Governor sent back the already-passed bill, the bill was passed again.
