Due to atmospheric circulation prevailing in the Lakshadweep region, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry regions will likely receive rain for the next seven days.

Heavy rains occurred in the southern districts due to low atmospheric circulation. Due to this, Tuticorin, Nellai, Kanyakumari and Tenkasi districts were severely affected. The people are rescued and are provided with food.

As the flood waters recede, the Tamil Nadu government is carrying out rescue and relief work in full swing. It is reported that Chief Minister Stalin will inspect these four districts tomorrow.

In this case, a rain warning has been issued again in Tamil Nadu. The atmospheric circulation prevailing in Kumarikadal and adjoining areas yesterday is prevailing in Lakshadweep and adjoining areas today.

Due to this, light to moderate rain may occur in a few places in South Tamil Nadu and some in North Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal today and tomorrow.
