Tamil Nadu Weather: Chance For Rain For Next Four Days

The low-pressure area that prevailed in Tamil Nadu yesterday over the Kumari Sea and adjoining areas has weakened today. Also, there is low atmospheric circulation in the Kumari Sea and adjoining areas.

In this regard, the Meteorological Department has issued a statement, "Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a couple of places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

The low-pressure area that prevailed over the Kumari Sea and its surrounding areas has weakened. Following this, there is now a monsoonal circulation in these areas. Due to this, Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at one or two places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today."

Also, in the announcement made by the Chennai Meteorological Department regarding the weather forecast for the next four days, it has been announced that there may be light to moderate rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal areas from 28th to 30th due to the tropical cyclone over the Kumari Sea and the surrounding areas.
