Tamil Nadu Weather: Less To Moderate Rain In Some Districts Today

Regarding the weather situation for the coming days, Balachandran, head of the South Zone of the Indian Meteorological Survey, addressed the media. Due to the excess circulation of Cyclone Mandus, a new low-pressure area will form in the Arabian Sea today.

This low-pressure area will likely move away from the Indian side in the Arabian Sea. As for the next five days, there are no major weather events in Tamil Nadu. On the northern coast, heavy rain is expected in some places today. Most places will receive moderate rainfall.

Due to the remaining clouds of Cyclone Mantus, Chennai, Chengalpattu and Tiruvallur districts received moderate rain since early morning, the Meteorological Department has announced.
