Tamil Nadu Weather Report: Possibility Of Heavy Rain In 8 Districts

According to the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rain is possible in 8 districts of Tamil Nadu. The climate is cloudy in many parts of Tamil Nadu.

The Indian Meteorological Department has already announced that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Accordingly, widespread rains are falling in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and other areas. In this case, the announcement issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department said, "There is a possibility of moderate rain in the next 3 hours (before 10 am) in 8 districts, namely Chennai, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Ramanathapuram, Thiruvallur, Ranipettai and Chengalpattu."

At the same time, the respective District Collectors have announced that schools and colleges will function as usual in Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts today (27.11.2023). It is to be noted that a new low-pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal today, and Tamil Nadu may receive rain for five days.
