Tamil Nadu Weather Report: Heavy Rain Expected In 16 Districts

Chennai Meteorological Center Director P. Senthamarai Kannan said in a statement issued yesterday regarding today's weather report. It was reported that there will be light rain with thunder and lightning in many places in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karaikal today.
The Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Theni, Dindigul, Erode, Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Karur, Trichy, Vellore, Tirupati, Thiruvannamalai and Kallakurichi are likely to receive heavy showers at one or two places.
The sky will be cloudy in Chennai today. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places. It is cloudy in many parts of Coimbatore as well. The people are enjoying this climate, escaping from the Hot climate. The tourists visiting Ooty, Kodaikanal have increased.
