Tamil Nadu Weather Report: Met Department Issued Statement On Rain

Yesterday there was slight rain in many parts of Tamil Nadu. According to a statement issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal regions due to the upper atmospheric circulation prevailing over Tamil Nadu.
Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Trichy, Tenkasi, Tirupattur, Vellore are likely to receive heavy rain at one or two places. As for Chennai, the sky will be partly cloudy for two days.
