Tamil Nadu Weather Report: Rain For Five Days Due To Northeast Monsoon

The Chennai Meteorological Department has announced that the Northeast Monsoon has started today (October 29) in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Southern Andhra Pradesh.

The rain intensity will increase from November 1, and there is a possibility of very heavy rain in North Tamil Nadu. Fourteen districts, including Cuddalore, Villupuram, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagai, Mayiladuthurai, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Sivaganga, Tuticorin, Theni, Thenkasi, are likely to receive heavy rain today (October 29).

Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal will likely receive light to moderate rain from today for five days. The sky will be cloudy in Chennai and Coimbatore. Some parts of the city will receive moderate rain.
