TN COVID 19 Update Oct 4 : Cases Gradually Increasing in Chennai

The coronaVirus wave is never settling in Chennai right from March amidst continuous lockdowns and relaxations.
From 5489 new positive cases in Tamil Nadu on Sunday, 1348 cases were recorded in Chennai alone as per the reports of Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Health and Family Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu.
Below are the top five cities in Tamil Nadu, which gradually rises day by day in the new CoVid cases from September 29 to October 4, 2020.

From the table, it is clear that Chennai tops the list overall and holds nearly half of the cases around the state in recent times after relaxation. Meanwhile, 12 out of 15 regions in the Chennai Corporation are prone to contagion quicker than ever.
According to the media bulletin's Sunday report, 66 deaths occurred in Tamil Nadu hiking the total death toll to 9784 and the overall positive cases crossing Six lakhs.
Despite the gradual increase in CoVid cases of Tamil Nadu, lockdown relaxations are still in practice as the country has undergone serious curfew for nearly three months and economic stabilization is the main goal now by the State and Central governments.
