A private school at Kaniyamur, Chinnasalem, Kallakurichi district, was recently ransacked by protesters following the death of Srimathi.
An examination centre was set up in that school for the Group-4 examination to be held on the 24th (Sunday). As there is no environment to set up an examination centre in that school at present, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Selection Commission (TNPSC) has changed the examination centre set up there.
The press release stated that Candidates who had been allotted to write the examination at Shakti Matriculation Higher Secondary School located in Kallakurichi due to administrative reasons had been re-allotted to the examination centres set up at Kallakurichi Neelamangalam A.K.T. Academy Matric High School and AKT Memorial Vidya saaket School.
