According to the Meteorological Department, Tamil Nadu will likely receive heavy rain for five days.
The Meteorological Department has issued a notification saying that due to the low atmospheric circulation prevailing over the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Delta districts, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Pudukottai, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul districts, Puducherry and Karaikal, are likely to receive heavy rain at one or two places.
