Elon Musk Unveils Robot Optimus Tesla Humanoid

Elon Musk, the world's richest man, has introduced a prototype of a human-machine called Optimus. It could one day eradicate poverty, he said

The human machine was brought to the stage at the annual Tesla AI Day event. It moved its arm and leg. Musk noted that it is not yet complete. The goal, he said, was to quickly create a useful human machine.

Work is reportedly underway to enable Optimus to operate with the ability to walk safely and work in a factory.

Tesla is designing Optimus machines for mass production. Musk mentioned that it would cost less than $20,000. He said that the public could buy it within five years.
