Fake Aadhar: Check If The Mobile Number Is Linked To Aadhaar card?

The aadhaar card plays a major role in all Indian citizenship life. The use of fake Aadhaar cards for fraud has recently been on the rise. Most of the criminals use fake Aadhar cards or numbers. Hence, to prevent it, UIDAI issued an important alert notification earlier.

UIDAI advises checking whether your cell phone number is linked with a 12-digit Aadhaar number. Follow the below five steps to avoid Aadhaar fraud. Here is the procedure to check Aadhaar Card Mobile Number.

Step 1: Go to Log in to myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/verify-email-mobile.

Step 2: Two options will be provided, namely 'Verify Mobile Number' and 'Verify Email Address. You have to choose the one you prefer

Step 3: You have to enter the Aadhaar number.

Step 4: Enter the mobile number or email id.

Step 5: Type the Captcha.

Step 6: Give the 'Send OTP' option.

Step 7: If the OTP number comes to your number, you can determine whether the mobile number is properly linked with Aadhaar.

Repeat the same procedure using the mail ID to check email IDs through the mail.
