Google has officially teased the Pixel 11 Pro Fold ahead of its annual Made by Google 2026 event, offering an early look at the company's next-generation foldable smartphone.
The teaser arrives as Google gears up to unveil the Pixel 11 series on August 12, when pre-orders for the new lineup are also set to begin.
The promotional video continues Google's "Ask More of Your Phone" campaign, encouraging users to embrace new experiences with their smartphones. While the teaser stops short of revealing key hardware details, it offers a glimpse of the foldable's refreshed design.
The video highlights the phone's signature horizontal camera bar, featuring a pill-shaped camera cutout that slightly protrudes from the rear panel. It also shows a glowing Google "G" logo on the back. However, the lighting effect appears to be a stylized visual element rather than confirmation of an illuminated logo on the final device.
Alongside the launch, Google is offering a special promotional benefit for eligible Google Store subscribers, including new users who sign up for Google Store email updates before the event.
Although Google has yet to announce the complete specifications, pricing or camera system, industry reports suggest the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will introduce notable improvements in performance and efficiency.
The foldable is expected to be powered by Google's next-generation Tensor G6 processor, which is rumored to be manufactured using a 2nm process.
The new chipset could deliver improved power efficiency, faster AI performance and better battery life compared to previous Tensor generations.
Reports also indicate the device may feature a 4,800mAh battery. While slightly smaller than its predecessor, the reduced capacity is believed to help make the foldable lighter and easier to carry without significantly affecting battery endurance.
Google is expected to reveal full specifications, pricing and availability during the 'Made by Google 2026' keynote on August 12, with pre-orders opening immediately after the announcement.
