HCL Tech Lays Off Over 300 Employees Globally Working For MSN Platform

Amidst the global recession, IT companies are already taking their cost-cutting measures seriously internationally. Now HCL Technologies has reportedly laid off hundreds of employees. 

In this situation, the decision of HCL Technology Company has caused a great shock among the employees. This indicates the slow growth in the IT sector. It also seems that this layoff of HCL has been done in countries like Guatemala, India, and the Philippines. The employees were working on HCL's client Microsoft’s news platform MSN and were informed about being fired.

It has been reported that coming September 30 has been announced as their last working day. It seems that they will also be paid severance pay. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this.

Indian companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro and others are undertaking various renovation projects. In particular, it has made major changes in its wages. As a whole, such a move by companies reflects the challenging situation prevailing in the IT sector.
