WhatsApp Tricks: How To Hide Last Seen Only For Certain People?

WhatsApp, one of the social networking sites, is offering more and more features to its customers. It has now introduced features like emoji responses to messages and communities. According to a recent announcement by WabitaInfo, the company is trying to offer customers the ability to hide Lost China only on specific contacts on WhatsApp.

Like how we hide the Whatsapp status only for certain people, similarly with this feature, only specific people can see our last seen. This option is in the Privacy Settings. To hide the last seen, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open Whatsapp Settings

Step 2: Click Account and then tap on Privacy.

Step 3:  When we click on the Last seen option, it will have 'Everyone', 'My Contacts', 'Nobody' and 'My Contacts Except' options.

You can choose the final option and hide those who do not want to see our Last seen. Similarly, WhatsApp has announced that it will provide the option to choose who can and cannot view our profile photo and the about section. 

For this, you will be given the 'My Contacts Except' option, which you can enable. Follow the steps instructed below to hide your profile picture and the about from particular contacts. 

Step 1: Open WhatsApp Settings

Step 2: Click on Account and tap privacy.

Step 3: Click on the profile picture. It will have 'Everyone', 'My Contacts', 'Nobody' and 'My Contacts Except' options.

And WhatsApp has provided some features for iOS and Android customers. That means simultaneous voice calling with up to 32 people, creating large communities, sending 2GB files, deleting messages from admins in the WhatsApp group, and responding to messages with emojis.

WhatsApp is about to bring a new look (POLL) feature. This feature is being tested. The information on the WABetaInfo site also confirms this. This feature is being rolled out to iOS users for the first time. This feature is being tested with a beta version number v2.22.6.70.
