Apple has introduced the MacBook Neo, its most affordable laptop yet, priced at ₹69,900 in India. The new device is aimed at budget-conscious buyers, particularly students and classroom users, as Apple looks to strengthen its presence in markets traditionally dominated by low-cost Windows laptops and Chromebooks.

Until now, the MacBook Air served as Apple's entry-level laptop, starting at ₹1,19,900 in India. With the launch of the MacBook Neo, Apple significantly lowers the entry price for its laptop lineup, making the MacBook experience more accessible to a wider audience.
