Oppo is gearing up to make a major splash in the premium smartphone segment with the launch of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro in China on April 21. The upcoming lineup is already creating buzz, especially for its cutting-edge camera technology and flagship-level performance.
The Find X9 Ultra stands out with its highly advanced and layered camera system, designed to deliver consistent image quality across multiple focal lengths. Oppo appears to be pushing beyond conventional smartphone photography with a quad-camera setup that covers everything from ultra-wide shots to extreme zoom.
At the heart of the device is a 200MP primary sensor, paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The periscope system has been redesigned with a new prism structure, enabling up to 120x digital zoom, while maintaining better clarity and stability.
Oppo is also focusing on maintaining colour and detail consistency across all lenses, which has often been a challenge in multi-camera setups.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display, offering a premium viewing experience with smooth adaptive refresh rates. Powering the device will be the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, ensuring top-tier performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI-driven features.
The devices are already available for pre-orders in China, and Oppo is expected to bring them to the Indian market in the weeks following the China launch. However, an official launch date for India has not yet been confirmed.
