Realme has officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Realme 16x 5G in India. The smartphone will make its debut on August 12 at 12 PM IST, becoming the fifth addition to the company's Realme 16 series lineup.
While the brand has not yet revealed whether it will hold a dedicated launch event, the announcement is expected to be livestreamed through Realme's official YouTube channel and social media platforms.
Ahead of the launch, the Realme 16x 5G has already appeared on Flipkart, confirming that the handset will be sold through the e-commerce platform after its debut.
The phone will be offered in Blooming Brown and Blooming Silver colour options, with 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB storage variants.
Although Realme has not disclosed the official pricing, leaks suggest the smartphone will be priced under Rs. 25,000 in India.
For reference, the Realme 15x 5G was introduced in October 2025 with a starting price of Rs. 16,999, indicating the new model is likely to remain in the affordable mid-range segment.
The Realme 16x 5G features a flat rear panel with a rectangular camera module positioned in the top-left corner. The vertically aligned Realme branding sits near the bottom-left, while the power button and volume keys are placed on the right edge. At the bottom, the device houses a USB Type-C port alongside the speaker grille and SIM tray.
Realme has also confirmed that the smartphone will carry an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.
Realme is expected to reveal the complete specifications, pricing, and sale details of the Realme 16x 5G during its official launch on August 12.
