Realme has expanded its C-series smartphone lineup with the launch of the Realme C83 5G in India. The new device, designed for everyday performance and long battery life, replaces the previous Realme C73 5G and introduces several improvements in battery capacity, display smoothness, and durability.
The smartphone will go on sale in India starting March 7 at 12 noon. Customers can purchase the device through Flipkart, Realme's official online store, and offline retail outlets across the country.
Price in India
The Realme C83 5G is available in three storage variants. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at ₹13,499, while the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs ₹14,499. The top-end version with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at ₹17,499.
Display and Design
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and improved gaming performance. The display has a 720×1570 resolution, providing clear visuals for everyday use.
Performance
The Realme C83 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process, supporting 5G connectivity and delivering reliable performance for daily tasks and multitasking.
Battery and Charging
One of the key highlights of the device is its 7,000 mAh Titan Battery, designed to deliver extended usage on a single charge. The smartphone supports 15W wired charging and also includes reverse charging, allowing users to charge other devices when needed.
Camera
For photography, the device comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the front camera is 5 megapixels for selfies and video calls.
Software and Durability
The Realme C83 5G runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. It also features IP64 dust and water resistance, as well as MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance, making the device more durable for everyday use. Additionally, the smartphone includes an enhanced cooling system and improved speakers for better performance and audio output.
Colour Options
The smartphone is available in two colours: Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green.
