Vivo has officially confirmed that its new premium smartphone, the Vivo X200T, will launch in India this month. The announcement was made on January 20, 2026, and the handset is scheduled to debut in the country on January 27.
The Vivo X200T will expand the brand's X200 lineup, joining the already available Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro, which were introduced earlier. Positioned slightly below the flagship X300 series, the X200T is expected to offer a strong balance of performance, camera capabilities, and battery life.
One of the key highlights of the Vivo X200T is its triple rear camera system, co-engineered with Zeiss. The setup includes three 50-megapixel sensors - a Sony LYT-702 primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a Samsung JN1 periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 ultra-wide camera, aiming to deliver versatile photography across lighting conditions.
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ chipset, a new high-performance processor that sits just below the Dimensity 9500 SoC used in the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro models. Notably, the existing Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are powered by the standard Dimensity 9400 chipset.
The Vivo X200T is confirmed to run Android 16-based OriginOS 6, which was first introduced with the Vivo X300 series in December 2025. On the display front, the handset is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and vibrant colours.
Battery performance is another strong point, as the device is tipped to pack a 6,200mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging, making it suitable for heavy daily usage.
In terms of availability, the Vivo X200T will be sold via Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and select offline retail outlets across the country. While Vivo has not officially revealed the pricing yet, industry sources suggest the smartphone could be priced between ₹50,000 and ₹60,000 in India.
With flagship-grade cameras, a powerful chipset, and the latest software, the Vivo X200T is shaping up to be a strong contender in India's premium smartphone segment.
