A group of 10 including women and children of the Islamic State fighters and ISIS affiliates, mostly from Kerala, have surrendered to Afghanistan national security forces in the eastern province of Nangarhar during their operations against ISIS.

More than 900 people of Islamic State fighters and their families, including Pakistan nationals, have surrendered to Afghan security forces on Sunday. Afghan security forces stated that hours after their operation on November 12, 93 ISIS laid their arms down and surrendered, including Pakistanis.

Sources reveal that ten people from Kerala have been shifted to Kabul in Afghanistan. National Directorate of Security, the Afghan intelligence team, working on the details of surrendered people and says that "One by one evaluation is on the process and the details will be shared once the process is completed".

The Defense Ministries of Afghanistan has announced that more than 600 people and their families surrendered to Afghan Army forces in recent weeks.

Moreover, 22 Daesh militants also surrendered to the Afghanistan security forces in the Achin district.
