A powerful earthquake hit Afghanistan. Preliminary reports indicate that it has been recorded as 6.6 on the Richter scale. The epicentre of this earthquake was about 184 km above ground level. The European Geological Survey has reported that it has occurred at depth.

Meanwhile, at least 12 people died in a 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan. Nearly 100 people were injured. A powerful earthquake centred in the Hindu Kush mountain range has shaken parts of Pakistan, the Pakistan Geological Department said.

A huge tremor was felt as the earth shook for a few seconds. People left their homes. Its impact was also felt in cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar. The world still hasn't come out of the Turkey and Syria earthquakes. In this situation, this incident has caused great sadness.
