PV Sindhu Wins Gold

The 22nd Commonwealth Games, in which 72 countries have participated, is held in Birmingham, England. The Commonwealth Games is 5th on the medal list with 43 medals, including 15 gold, 11 silver and 17 bronze. India's PV Sindhu wins gold in the Badminton final at Commonwealth Games. 

PV Sindhu won a gold medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games after defeating Canada's Michelle Li in the women's singles final.  In the final, she won gold by defeating the Canadian player Michelle Li in straight sets, 21-15 and 21-13. This is the first time PV Sindhu has won a gold medal at a Commonwealth Games. In 2014 CWC, she won the Bronze, in 2018, she won the Silver medal, and in 2022 she won the Gold medal.
