RCB's women's cricket team has advanced to the finals of the Women's Premier League series after winning the 'Eliminator' match by 5 runs. The second season of the Women's Premier League Cricket is currently taking place in India. In the 'Eliminator' match held in Delhi, the Bengaluru and 'reigning champion' Mumbai teams faced off against each other. Bengaluru captain Smriti Mandhana won the toss and chose to bat.

Mandhana (10) and Sophie Devin (10) gave Bengaluru a modest start. Richa Ghosh (14) and Sophie Molineux (11) followed with their contributions. Ellyse Perry (66) played under pressure and crossed her half-century, hitting 8 fours and a six during her 50-ball stay in the middle.

The Bengaluru team scored 135 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Wareham (18) and Sreyanka Patil (3) were not out. On behalf of Mumbai, Healy Mathews, Nat-Siver Frant, and Saika took two wickets each. RCB's score of 135/6 in 20 overs proved to be enough for Bangalore to win the match.

Following half a century, Ellyse Perry became the national crush among cricket lovers. Her videos and photos are now going viral on social media with the song 'Cheri Cheri Lady.'
