The Taliban government has banned education for all women in Afghanistan universities. This is a serious violation of rights imposed on women recently.

Taliban also limits women's education and barred women from certain jobs. In November, Afghan women were blocked from entering amusement parks in Kabul. The Taliban government announced restrictions on women's access to public parks.

As a result, the Taliban has ordered the closure of women's colleges and universities. A spokesperson for Afghanistan's Ministry of Higher Education confirmed this.

A press release issued by the country's Ministry of Education said that the decision was taken at a meeting of the Taliban's cabinet. The order will come into effect immediately. Various parties have condemned this decision of the Taliban. Human Rights Watch has criticized the ban.
