Trump says "no deal needed" as strikes hit Iran
The war between Iran and Israel has been shot up with U.S and Israeli airstrikes that continue to target the industrial sites in Iran, including a steel plant in Isfahan. Several people lost their lives, and millions have been displaced across the region due to the ongoing war.
Trump says the war might end in a few weeks
The president of the U.S. Donald Trump has told reporters that the war might conclude in 2-3 weeks without any formal negotiations.
Trump said that the U.S. is now "finishing the job" and has completed achieving its goals in the country.
He affirmed that he took Iran back to 15-20 years, as they have no navy, no military, no air force, and that they have weakened the military capabilities of Iran. He also stated that after achieving all the U.S.'s objectives, the U.S. will leave Iran regardless of negotiations.
Meanwhile, the president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated that if all the conditions are met, Iran would likely end the war.
The Iranian Foreign Minister rejected the claims of Trump that Iran requested a ceasefire, calling it a false allegation.
He also said he has no trust in Trump and that messages were sent, but they don't signal a diplomatic solution.
The conflict between Iran and Israel
Iran has struck Kuwait's international airport, causing major fires and raising the risk of many regions becoming involved. Israel has also warned that it may target the homes in southern Lebanon, which has raised the fear of escalation among the civilians.
As this war targets the economic and industrial infrastructure, analysts warn that the broader Middle East could also be affected. As the war continues, the community watches with fear of being evacuated from their own region, and despite the messages that have been sent, as trust is absent, the war doesn't seem to be slowing down.
