Mafia a Hollywood style movie to hit screens on February 21: Karthick Naren, the youngest director of today's Tamil cinema, makes a Hollywood style movie Mafia again within 33 days to release on February 21. At a young age of 21, this Coimbatore engineering drop out director made Duruvangal Pathinaaru, which was much acclaimed by critics and movie lovers. Arun Vijay, Prasanna, and Priya Bhavani Shankar are the lead actors of the Mafia movie, which is releasing under high expectations this Friday.

Lyca productions Allirajah Subaskaran after taking the mega movie Darbar has now produced Mafia with Karthick Naren. He is also distributing the cinema all over Tamil Nadu to reap the monetary benefits if the movie collects money as per expectations. Music by Jakes Bejoy and cinematography by Gokul Benoy makes Subaskaran believe much on only Karthick to make this low budget Hollywood style crime thriller movie to ring the box office coffins.

The lion versus fox story told for centuries seems to be the storyline as per the teaser:

Arun Vijay is most likely the lion and the police officer to unearth the drug cartel lead by the fox Prasanna. The audience can expect a lot of gun firing and Hollywood plot storytelling in the movie. Karthick Naren must have matured more in the last four years after Duruvangal Pathinaru in 2016 to give his best in Mafia.

But he is well praised to be one of the economical and fast directors like K. S. Ravikumar and Hari. He plans well before the start of the shooting to finish Mafia within 33 days, and the shooting of the climax in a costly presidential shoot supposed to be taken in four days was completed within a day without any compromise in quality, said Prasanna.

But all have to wait until Friday, February 21, to see what Karthick Naren has in store with Mafia to become the next Karthick Subburaj of Tamil cinema with the fast and well planned directorial skills of KS Ravikumar or Hari.
