It has been reported that actress Samantha will play antagonist to actor Vijay in Thalapathy 67, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Lokesh Kanagaraj has become the favourite director of many leading actors from Kollywood to Bollywood. So far, he has directed four films: Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master and Vikram. All four films became blockbuster hits. Especially the last film released under his direction, Vikram set a record by collecting more than Rs.440 crores.
He currently works on four films, Thalapathy 67 and Irumbu Kai Mayavi. First of all, he is going to direct Vijay's Thalapathy 67. The preliminary work of the film is currently going on in full swing. He is expected to take a step forward in Kaithi Part 2.
