The DMK party has officially announced the list of candidates with constituencies for the forthcoming election of 2021, which is to be held on April 06, 2021, and to be counted on May 2.
The list was expected to be released in the last two days, and today M K Stalin has finalized and released the list of 173 candidates. Stalin is competing in Kolathur, and for the first time, whereas his son Udayanidhi Stalin is competing from Chepak.
DMK has allied with Congress, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, and MDMK. It is contesting 173 of the 234 seats and has allotted the remaining to its alliance partners. The DMK part and the AIADMK party if facing the war of election directly at 129 places.
