Examination Fee for Class 5 and 8 Public Exams has been announced: The Tamil Nadu Educational Department has planned to conduct the board examinations for classes 5 and 8 from this academic year. The government also seeks various details and bio-data from the respective students for the smooth and prompt way of conducting the exams.

The education ministry has also asked the details of students, which includes Name, Aadhar card, Address, Caste, and Community Certificates. In addition to that, these details were already uploaded in the government server with an EMIS number for easy identification. The Public Exams for 10th and 12th were already in existence, and now the examination for class 5th and 8th are also added to it.

The detailed circular regarding these changes was forwarded to all schools through District Educational Officers (DEO's) of each district. As per the latest statement released by TN Directorate of School Education, the exams will be organized and conducted within the school premises itself, but the students will have the common question paper prepared by the examination committee from the ongoing Samacheer Kalvi Syllabus, the reports said.

According to the official press release, the examination fee for the self-financing and Matriculation schools has been fixed with Rs. 100 and Rs. 200 for classes 5 and 8 respectively. The Educational Minister K.A Sengottaiyan has also confirmed this statement.
