Governor RN Ravi Approves Online Rummy Ban Law In Tamil Nadu
Governor RN Ravi approves online gambling ban law in Tamil Nadu. The Online Gambling Prohibition Act was enacted based on a report by a panel headed by retired Justice K. Chandru.
Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has approved the Bill passed in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on the 19th to control online gambling games.
The Permanent Prohibition Act was tabled in the Legislative Assembly as an alternative to the Emergency Act. The Law Minister tabled the Bill in this regard. The resolution was passed, and the Bill to regulate online games was sent to the Governor. The Governor has now approved this. After this, it was informed that this law would be published in the Gazette and come into effect soon.
