It has been announced that the night and Sunday curfew in Tamil Nadu will be cancelled from today, and schools and colleges will be reopened from February 1. New guidelines are proposed as the covid cases are declining in Tamil Nadu.

As the covid cases in Tamil Nadu are declining in recent days, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister had a consultation meeting yesterday and declared a few guidelines and relaxations. The night curfew and the Sunday lockdown have been cancelled across the state. The restriction on tourist spots, beaches, hotels and theatres will continue.

Accordingly, direct classes will be conducted for Class I to Class XII students in all schools. Government and private universities, colleges and training centres are allowed to open from February 1. The respected administrations are requested to follow covid guidelines and run the schools and colleges. Meanwhile, the restrictions on kinder garden schools and nurseries are not allowed to open.

Tamil Nadu Government has also permitted devotees to visit the worship places. Sami darshan in temples was banned on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as a corona prevention measure. The Tamil Nadu government has ordered the removal of the ban. The ban on weekends in places of worship such as churches and mosques has been lifted.

In this situation, Chief Minister Stalin has announced that the night curfew in Tamil Nadu will be cancelled from today. Similarly, it has been announced that the complete curfew will be cancelled on Sunday. It has been reported that there will be no complete curfew in Tamil Nadu on Sunday, the 30th.
