According to the State Examination Directorate, students who are not satisfied with their marks in class 12 can apply for the Supplementary Examination from today till July 27th.

According to a press release issued by the Directorate of State Examinations, students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in the examination results published on 19.07.2021 for the academic year 2020-2021, and those who have failed to apply for the May 2021  Examination, are welcome to apply through the website. Candidates wishing to apply for the 2021 Higher Secondary Secondary Examination are requested to visit the Government Examination Service Centers set up by the Education Directorate.

Examination results were released on 19.07.2021 for HSC students for the academic year 2020-2021. The result was considered as there was a 100% PASS result. Students who felt that the score was low in the examination results are allowed to appear for the Class XII written test if they wished.

Based on the above Government, the Tamil Nadu government said that the Students who are considered to have low marks in the examination results can appear for the supplementary Examination on 23.07.2021 to 27.07.2021 (excluding Sunday 25.07.2021) from 10.00 am to 5.45 pm through the District Examination Service Centers set up according to the districts.

Candidates who have applied for the May 2021 Higher Secondary Second Year Board Examination are not required to re-apply to write the 2021 Higher Secondary Second Year Supplementary Examination.  Candidates who fail to apply between 23.07.2021 and 27.07.2021 should apply online through the Service Centers on 28.07.2021 in the Special Admission (File) Scheme. The Special Admission can be processed with a Fee of Rs.1000.
