Ponniyin Selvan's novel written by Kalki is being made into a movie directed by Mani Ratnam, Lyca produces the film. and A.R. Rahman composes the music. The star cast includes Vikram, Prakash Raj, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and many others.
The Ponniyin Selvan Movie is going to be released in two parts. Mani Ratnam has taken over the efforts, so the expectations for the film have increased.
