VCK leader Thirumavalavan and Gayatri Raghuram are likely to clash for religion in the state.
The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi have staged a protest against actress Gayatri Raghuram outside her house, who slandered Thirumavalavan on Twitter for criticizing Hinduism. Gayatri Raghuram, a popular Tamil actor and dance choreographer of the Tamil film industry, commented on the VCK leader Thirumavalan. Gayatri Raghuram has said that she is not afraid of such life threats.
Gayatri Raghuram, meanwhile, commented on her Twitter page, accusing Thirumavalavan of continuing to criticize Hinduism and now harassing her through his acts.
The VCK protestors filed a complaint in the Commissioners Office to arrest actress Gayatri Raghuram. Gayatri Raghuram said that she is not afraid of this threat and always ready to give her life for her religion and her country. She also tweeted that she is going to Marina Beach alone to debate with the opposers of the Hindu religion on 27th November 2019.
