Glimpses of Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy's visit to foreign countries: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami visited foreign countries from August 30th 2019 to September 10th 2019 as a part of Government's stipulations to invigorate the investments and bring the best practices followed in other countries across industries. In his first leg of a foreign tour, he visited three countries, the United States, the United Kingdom and Dubai. When he alighted London, the diaspora Tamil welcomed him with great cheers.

The purview of his visit to London was to get to know the technological implementation across industries and attract investments to the state. The same day he met International Human Welfare Development Organization and discussed on how technology redefined the medical industry and the doctors' knowledge upgradation in line with the technological standards. Also, Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has discussed regarding the ambulance services in the UK keeping in mind the same services to be implemented in the our Tamil Nadu state.

Leprosy is well under control in the country with the help of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine ("LSHTM"). With the members of LSHTM Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami discussed on the control measures to be followed to contain Malaria and Dengue. CM also recommended and signed an agreement to open branches of "Kings College Hospital" in TamilNadu. "We stand the best in planning and implementing medical insurance policies," bragged Palanisamy in London parliament.

In the London parliament, Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami also spoke about the investment in city infrastructure and biofuel. In England, the Chief Minister visited Power generation plant, wind power generation plant and solar power generation plant and discussed on the best techniques and practices followed over there.

In the United States America, the Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami discussed on the current technological needs of establishing Animal Husbandry in the state. Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami went to Buffalo City, New York dairy farm and witnessed the technologies implemented. Also, he witnessed the food and grains given to the cattle. In New York, the investor meeting happened, and the Chief Minister was part of the met and signed 16 MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) which attracted an investment of Rs 2780 cr. He also apprised of the plan "Yadhum Oorey" meant for attracting investment in the state during the New York Investors meet. 

As a repercussion of the meet, Haldia Petro Chemical Organization has shown interest to start a Naptha Cracker Unit in Chennai. In line with the same, they plan to meet the Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami in Chennai. This will attract an investment of Rs 50000 cr. In another investor meet happened in SanHese, America, the Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has signed 19 MOUs which attract an investment of Rs 2300 cr. He also inaugurated "Digital Accelerator" to facilitate the debut TamilNadu investors promising to confer 10% of the investment joining hands with American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association. 

Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami also visited SanFrancisco and met Tesla company and spoke about the investment plan in the state. The Chief Minister also visited Bloom Energy, the organization which manufactures solid oxide fuel cell, invigorating pollution-free environment. He also visited Wastewater Recycling plant at Anaheim located in Los Angeles and discussed about the water treatment process.

He also visited Dubai and conferenced with the investors to attract investments in the state. Business Leaders Forum in association with the Indian embassy organized an investor meeting in Dubai, and the Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami signed various MOUs.

Finally, the Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami landed in Chennai on September 10th, and thunderous welcome was extended to him in the airport. With this tour, our Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami promised Rs 8836 cr investment to our state. He has plans to visit Israel soon to gain insights on how to curb monsoon failure as Israel is considered the best in the utilization of water source. Our state is highly dependent on monsoon rains, and this meet would facilitate farmers.
