A.M. Vikramaraja, president of the Tamil Nadu Vanigar Sangankalin Peramaippu and members of the Association, met Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam today. After the meeting, the announcement was made about the reopening of the market.
Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex (KWMC) is one of Asia's largest vegetable markets and a livelihood source for more than 15,000 people. It became a hotspot of COVID and closed in Last May, Later transformed to Thirumazhisai and Madhavaram.
