The most popular director Mani Ratnam filmed the novel 'Ponniyin Selvan' written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Ponniyin Selvan will be released in two parts. The two-part film stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Prabhu, Prakashraj, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and others.
The first part, Ponniyin Selvan, will be released on September 30. The movie is produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. Music composer AR Rahman has composed music for this film.
